Dr. Tran will serve as a full-time orthopedic surgeon, specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery at Woodland Healthcare, which is comprised of the Woodland Clinic Medical Group, Woodland Memorial Hospital and Woodland Healthcare-Davis.
He earned his MD from Harvard Medical School and then, at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center, completed an orthopedic surgery residency and a fellowship in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery.
Dr. Tran was a Rhodes scholar, earning a master of arts in international relations and political philosophy at Oxford University, and he recently completed 10 years of active-duty military service with the U.S. Air Force.
