Aurora Spine earned FDA 510(k) clearance for its Aero facet fusion system, the devicemaker said March 25.

Aero is a minimally invasive system for facet joint-related pain or instability in levels C2 to S1, according to a news release. It can be used as a standalone or as an adjunct to larger spinal fusions.

The first cases with the system are expected to take place in the third quarter of 2025.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
