Dr. Keith Meister to treat Toronto Blue Jays reliever

Toronto Blue Jays reliever Erik Swanson is scheduled to meet with orthopedic surgeon Keith Meister, MD, after experiencing right elbow discomfort.

The pain has been a recurring trend for Mr. Swanson, and the team is hopeful that Dr. Meister will be able to determine the exact cause, according to a March 10 report from the MLB.

Dr. Meister has a long history of treating professional athletes at TMI Sports Medicine in Arlington, Texas.
