76% of Small and Medium Medical Offices to Purchase Tablets in 2012

Seventy-six percent of small- and medium-sized medical and dental offices intend to purchase tablets in the next 12 months, according to a DOTmed report.

Each office will spend approximately $6,800 on the tablets, according to the report.

The findings come from a survey by the NPD Group that revealed 73 percent of all small and medium businesses with fewer than 1,000 employees plan to buy a tablet within the next year.
