The symposium, titled “A Decade at War: Evolution of Orthopaedic Combat Casualty Care (WEI VII) Research Symposium” will take place in January and highlight the different phases of trauma patient care. Col. Romney Anderson, MD, chairman of orthopedics at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and Capt. Michael Bosse, MD, director of clinical research at the Carolinas Medical Center, will co-chair the symposium.
The symposium was established in 2006.
