More Than Half of Healthcare Organizations Don’t Have Mobile Technology Policies

Nearly all healthcare organizations view some information via a mobile device, yet more than half do not have policies regarding mobile technology use, according to a report by mHIMSS, part of the Health Information and Management Systems Society.

The 2011 HIMSS Mobile Technology Survey, HIMSS’ first annual survey of this kind, includes responses from 164 people who are responsible in some way for mobile technology at their healthcare organization.
