Physicians face a 25 percent cut in Medicare fees in 2010 if Congress does not postpone the sustainable growth rate formula, as it has done for many years now.
If payments are reduced by that much, a survey shows that as many as 70 percent of doctors would stop seeing Medicare and Medicaid patients.
