Dr. Marc Philippon Performs Hip Surgery on Pro Golfer Brandt Snedeker

Marc Philippon, MD, a hip surgeon at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., recently performed hip surgery on professional golfer Brandt Snedeker, according to a Fox News report.

Mr. Snedeker has won the PGA Tour twice, but developed degenerative issues in his right hip. He is expected to spend six to eight weeks recovering postoperatively, but expects to return to competition in the 2012 season.
