Metalogix will expand Fusion’s offerings in external fixation treatments, including circular static frames, dynamic frames, delta frames, and a soon to be released novel mini-rail system, according to a Jan. 3 press release.

Metalogix is known for its Revolution EPS product, which is designed for long-bone fractures, limb lengthening and correction of bone.

The Revolution EPS and Revolution trauma products are available for all current Fusion and former Metalogix distributors.

Revolution EPS’ open-back concept frame allows for improved limb access for surgeons and hospital staff, reduced swelling complications and the use of smaller plates for more stability. It is also specifically designed with a drill/flute configuration for easier insertion, which may reduce thermal necrosis, according to the release.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
