Colorado medical center adds TOPS spine procedure

Meeker, Colo.-based Pioneers Medical Center now offers the TOPS system for lumbar spine surgery.

The TOPS posterior arthroplasty system helps maintain stability and preserve motion. It can be used for patients with lower back and leg pain.

J. Alex Sielatycki, MD, performed PMC’s first case with TOPS, according to a Dec. 18 news release published in The Daily Sentinel. PMC is the only facility in Colorado’s Western Slope region to offer TOPS.
