OrthoPediatrics loses $7.9M in Q3: 6 notes

Warsaw, Ind.-based OrthoPediatrics has reported a loss of $7.9 million in its third quarter, according to a Nov. 6 report from CW affiliate WISH.

Here are six things to know about the company’s third-quarter results: 

1. The company had a loss of 34 cents per share. 

2. The company posted $54.6 million in revenue, exceeding its forecasts. 

3. OrthoPediatrics expects full-year revenue in the range of $202 million to $204 million,  representing growth of 36% to 37% compared to the prior year. 

4. The company helped 33,000 children in the third quarter, an increase of 50% from the same time last year, according to a press release from OrthoPediatrics. 

5. The company’s third-quarter revenue was up 37% from $40 million in the same period last year. 

6. Its domestic revenue increased 45%, and international revenue increased 12%.
