Four things to know:
1. The orthopedic center will be two stories and 49,500 square feet. There will be space for up to 20 orthopedic surgeons to see patients.
2. The facility will include an outpatient rehabilitation center and is connected to CHI Health Lakeside hospital.
3. The orthopedic center is slated to open in summer 2026.
4. Construction of the center won’t affect services at CHI Health Lakeside.
