5 surgeons to join Indiana Orthopedic Institute

The Terre Haute, Ind.-based Indiana Joint Replacement Institute and the Indianapolis-based Indiana Orthopedic Institute are adding five new orthopedic specialists on Oct. 1, according to a Sept. 24 report from the Current.

The institute is adding three hip and knee specialists from the Mooresville, Ind.-based Center for Hip and Knee Surgery. 

Timothy Williams, MD, John Meding, MD, and Robert Malinzak, MD, are board-certified hip and knee surgeons with 74 years of combined surgical experience.

Hand and elbow surgeon Rich Makowiec, MD, and shoulder and elbow surgeon Peter Hogg, MD, will also join the team, bringing more than 35 years of combined surgical experience.
