HipInsight 2.0 enables a new patented method of overlaying digital content onto the patient to improve the surgeon’s workflow for hip replacements, according to a news release. HipInsight puts 3D information onto mixed-reality eyeglass lenses.
The new technology also generates “future X-rays” that show desired surgical results. They can be displayed onto intraoperative X-rays so surgeons can see a live comparison during procedures. HipInsight 2.0 allows for quick assessment of leg length and hip width change, too.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
