Dr. Frank Henn named orthopedics department chair at U of Maryland

The University of Maryland School of Medicine appointed Frank Henn, MD, as chair of the department of orthopedics.

Dr. Henn, who serves as a professor of orthopedics at the school, has served as interim department chair since 2022, according to a July 25 news release. 

Dr. Henn’s clinical focuses include shoulder and knee care with an emphasis on cartilage restoration and joint repair.

He is also experienced in sports medicine and has served as a physician for the New England Patriots, the Boston Bruins and the Boston Red Sox, the release said.
