Dr. Mason was also the recipient of the compassionate doctor subcategory. He earned his medical degree at Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, and completed his neurosurgical residency at Cleveland Clinic. His additional training in cerebrovascular and skull base neuro oncologic surgery was at Emory University in Atlanta.
