WWE star returns to ring following surgery at Andrews Sports Medicine

World Wrestling Entertainment star Erik of The Viking Raiders, whose real name is Raymond Rowe, is back in the ring after undergoing surgery at Birmingham, Ala.-based Andrews Sports Medicine in 2023.

In November, Mr. Rowe underwent successful neck fusion surgery on his C6 and C7 vertebrae; he thanked the staff at Andrews and St Vincent’s Hospital, also in Birmingham, in an Instagram post. Andrew Cordover, MD, performed the surgery, Andrews Sports Medicine said in its own Instagram post.

Mr. Rowe  wrestles alongside WWE star Ivar, whose real name is Todd Smith, who also underwent a procedure at Andrews Sports Medicine.

On June 10, Mr. Rowe posted a photo on Instagram of himself back in the ring and training in Orlando, Fla.
