First cases with EnFix TAC demineralized bone fiber implants completed

Tetrous’ EnFix TAC demineralized bone fiber implants were used in their first cases, the company said May 8.

The new implants are the latest in the EnFix implant line for rotator cuff repair, according to a news release. The EnFix TAC is designed to address enthesis failure syndrome and comes in two configurations — TAC-O and TAC-T.

Nikhil Verma, MD, of Chicago-based Midwest Orthopedics at Rush, performed the first surgeries with the implants.
