Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic launches physician assistant fellowship

Tallahassee (Fla.) Orthopedic Clinic launched a physician assistant-certified fellowship for orthopedics, according to an April 12 news release.

The program spans 14 months and provides experience with an array of subspecialties in orthopedic surgery. Participants will fulfill criteria for the Certificate of Additional Qualifications in Orthopedic Surgery.

“The continued evolution of the Physician Assistant role is mission critical in ensuring there is an adequate supply of providers to care for our extensive patient population spanning across Georgia and Florida,” Mike Boblitz, TOC CEO, said in the release. “Our priority is to provide post graduate physician assistants the opportunity to advance their knowledge skills and competition in the field of orthopedics and sports medicine.”
