The apps allow surgeons to walk through key steps on the procedures using Apple Vision Pro’s spatial computing, according to a news release. Osso VR’s apps simulate medical procedures with high fidelity and integrate the operating room into physical spaces.

“Apple Vision Pro unlocks new opportunities to scale spatial computing in healthcare with groundbreaking display quality and virtually lag-free learning experience, helping solve important challenges to education in healthcare,” Justin Barad, MD, chief strategy officer at Osso VR, said in the release.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
