Saint Joseph’s Medical Center adds New York orthopedic practice

Yonkers, N.Y.-based Saint Joseph’s Medical Center has added Southern Westchester Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and its orthopedic surgeons David Lent, MD, and Eric Spencer, MD, to its network, according to a Jan. 15 report from the Bronx Times.

Along with the partnership, Saint Joseph’s has also added Stryker’s Mako robot for knee and hip replacement procedures. 

Dr. Lent and Dr. Spencer both specialize in the use of the robotic-assisted arm. Dr. Lent specializes in sports medicine, joint replacements and minimally invasive surgery, while Dr. Spencer specializes in sports medicine, minimally invasive arthroscopic surgical techniques and orthopedic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.
