Dr. Sharma will assist Sierra with the opening of its second orthopedic urgent care site, which is set to open on Jan. 15, according to a Jan. 8 press release sent to Becker’s.
Dr. Sharma previously served as the curriculum lead and course director of point-of-care ultrasound and urgent care training for the UCSF Fresno family medicine residency training program.
The urgent care facility will offer broken bone care, sports injury care and sprain care.
