The center is owned and operated by Kamal Woods, MD, and Loredana Woods, BSN, RN, according to the publication. It opened in May with limited care offerings, such as physical therapy and in-office procedures.

The surgery center portion of the building is expected to begin treating patients in January, the Daily News reported. It will offer outpatient procedures and have the ability to keep patients overnight if necessary.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
