Older Orthopedic Surgeon Switches to Hospital-Affiliated Multispecialty Group

Orthopedic Surgeon Kenneth C. Spengler, MD, is leaving 15-member Access Sports Medicine and Orthopedics in Exeter, N.H., to join Core Physicians, a multi-specialty group practice affiliated with Exeter Hospital, according to the Portsmouth (N.H.) Herald.

In his new position, Dr. Spengler will shift focus from performing surgeries to assisting in surgery and treating patients in the office.

A founding member of Access, Dr. Spengler started practicing in Exeter in 1976 and was the first full-time, board certified orthopedic surgeon at Exeter Hospital.
