OrthoAlaska hit with data breach

Anchorage-based OrthoAlaska suffered a data breach that affected 176,203 individuals, JD Supra reported Oct 6.

The data breach was reported to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Sept. 22 after the practice found an unauthorized party accessed sensitive patient information.

Details about what information was affected wasn’t yet shared, the report said. OrthoAlaska has more than 81 employees.
