OrthoAtlanta, Piedmont Augusta open new practice

Piedmont Augusta (Ga.) has partnered with OrthoAtlanta to open a new practice in the Atlanta area, according to an Oct. 5 report from local ABC affiliate WJBF.

Zachary Hurst, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Piedmont OrthoAtlanta, will bring Stryker’s MAKO robot to the new location. He has been using the technology at OrthoAtlanta for four years for total and partial hip and knee replacements.
