FDA Approves Custom Spine’s Pathway AVID

The FDA has approved the 510k clearance of Custom Spine’s Pathway AVID, which stands for articulating vertebral interbody device, according to a release from Custom Spine.

Pathway AVID consists of three intra-linked spacers, made from Peek-Optima, that are inserted into the disc space, then sequentially articulated to create an interbody that follows the natural curvature of the vertebra.
