Spine company releases new instruments for Intracept procedure

Relievant Medsystems released new Intracept Access Instruments for the Intracept procedure, the devicemaker said July 14.

The Intracept procedure is a minimally invasive procedure for chronic vertebrogenic low back pain. The new instruments are designed for predictable performance across a wide range of bone densities, according to a news release.

They also include bevel and diamond introducers, curved cannula assembly with a J-stylet and a straight stylet.

More than 10,000 patients have been treated with the Intracept procedure.
