Lutheran Health partners with Zimmer Biomet to open Indiana orthopedic ASC

Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Health Network is opening The Orthopedic Hospital-Warsaw (Ind.) Surgery Center, with a ribbon cutting scheduled for July 13.

Lutheran Health Network partnered with orthopedic devicemaker Zimmer Biomet to open the first ASC in Indiana that features Zimmer Biomet’s Omni Suite, according to a July 10 press release. 

The facility’s operating rooms will include cameras equipped with artificial intelligence, operating room touchscreen monitors, smart tourniquets and smart implant technology allowing surgeons to view a patient’s postsurgical process.
