Here are the three appointments:
Women’s U20 team: Kari Kindschi, MD, MedStar Health. Dr. Kindschi specializes in nonoperative treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and is the medical director for Towson (Md.) University Athletics
Women’s box team: Mohammed Emam, MD, Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Emam specializes in chronic spine, shoulder, elbow, hip and knee conditions. He is a team physician at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and is the director of its physical medicine and rehabilitation sports medicine fellowship program.
Men’s box team: Catherine Logan, MD, Colorado Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics. Dr. Logan specializes in complex shoulder and knee surgeries at Colorado Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics in Denver. She also serves as a team physician for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard teams.
