AAOS Orthopaedic Theater Offers Peer-Reviewed Surgical Videos for Surgeons

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons has released the AAOS Orthopaedic Theater, an online collection of peer-reviewed orthopedic surgical videos accessed through AAOS OrthoPortal, according to an AAOS Now report.

The collection currently includes 130 full-length videos on topics such as anatomy and arthroscopy, surgical technique and complication treatment. There are videos of the programs from the organization’s annual meeting Multimedia Education Center spanning three years.

Anther 30-40 videos are expected to be added in 2012. According to the report, every video is free of industry bias.
