Dr. Dean Karahalios joins Aclarion as advisor

Aclarion added Dean Karahalios, MD, as a surgeon advisor, the company said May 23.

Dr. Karahalios is medical director of Brain & Spine Institute at Advocate Aurora Health Care in Park Ridge, Ill., according to a news release. 

Aclarion is working on creating augmented intelligence algorithms for physicians to identify the location of chronic lower back pain. Dr. Karahalios joins several other spine and neurosurgeons who are advising Aclarion on the Nociscan platform.
