The StemSpine procedure uses AlloStem, which creates cells from a patient’s own bone marrow, according to a May 18 company news release.
The study found the StemSpine procedure led to a 90 percent or greater reduction in narcotics usage, a more than 80 percent reduction in pain score and more than 50 percent reduction in the Oswestry Score. No patients in the study needed surgical intervention, and there were no safety-related concerns.
