University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences adds to neurosurgery department

Deanna Sasaki-Adams, MD, joined the department of neurosurgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Center in Little Rock.

Dr. Sasaki-Adams is a vascular and skull base neurosurgeon with experience in aneurysm clipping, according to an April 11 news release from the university.  

Prior to joining UAMC, she served as section chief of cerebrovascular and skull base neurosurgery in the department of neurosurgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 

The university is the only health sciences school in Arkansas and has colleges of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, health professions and public health.
