Dr. Philippon is known for performing advanced hip joint preservation techniques and has consulted with many professional hockey, football, basketball and baseball athletes and teams. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and fellow with American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Philippon previously served as the director of sports related hip disorders and director of the UPMC Golf Medicine Program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
