Dr. Abboud previou
sly served as a clinical assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He has a professional interest in shoulder and elbow reconstruction, sports medicine, trauma, rotator cuff pathology and the treatment of arthritis. He is a member of several professional organizations, including American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Shoulder and Elbow Society.
Dr. Abboud received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. His additional training includes an orthopedic surgical residency and shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
