The ulna nails, set to launch in February 2023, are the newest addition to Conventus’ Flex-Thread portfolio.

The Flex-Thread ulna nail is designed to fix fractures and osteotomies of the ulna. It is the first and only flexible ulna nail that will be available in a range of diameters and lengths.

Conventus first launched its Flex-Thread platform in 2021 with a fibula nail system.

“With over 650 cases utilizing our Flex-Thread distal fibula nail system, we have seen tremendous results and have been extremely pleased with the adoption of this unique technology. We expect the Flex-Thread ulna intramedullary nail system to be well received and a terrific option for fracture management in the upper extremity market segment,” Brad Niemann, CEO of Conventus, said in a Jan. 19 press release.
