Dr. Norman Waldrop performs surgery on Tennessee Titans quarterback

Ryan Tannehill, starting quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, underwent ankle surgery at Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center in Birmingham, Ala., nfl.com reported Dec. 23.

Mr. Tannehill injured his ankle in a game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Dec.18, according to the report. He flew to Birmingham, where he was operated on by Norman Waldrop, MD, for his high ankle sprain. He could be cleared to play in as soon as three weeks.
