20-physician orthopedic practice in Mississippi names CEO

Jackson-based Mississippi Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center named Greg Shoemaker as its CEO, according to a Dec. 20 LinkedIn post from U.S. Orthopaedic Partners.

Mr. Shoemaker recived his MBA from  the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He previously worked as executive administrator at Daphne, Ala.-based Baldwin Bone & Joint.

Mississippi Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center is an affiliated practice with USOP. It has 20 physicians on staff, according to its website.
