3 orthopedic, spine donations in the last 90 days

Becker’s has reported on over $26 million in orthopedic and spine donations since Aug. 23. Here are three notable contributions:

1. The New York-based Hospital for Special Surgery and Naples, Fla.-based NCH Healthcare System’s partner facility received a $20 million grant. 

2. Trisha Bailey, MD, donated the largest gift ever received by the UConn athletics department to go toward building a new sports medicine facility. 

3. Two healthcare entrepreneurs pledged $5.7 million to Johns Hopkins University and the Johns Hopkins Health System for research in neurology spine oncology in Baltimore.
