Three surgeons have used the new software: Samuel Wllman, MD; Carl Talmo, MD, and J. Scott Reid, MD, according to a Nov. 3 company news release. The software is the first release with components manufactured by Zimmer Biomet as part of a partnership.

HipInsight uses the MicroSoft Hololens2 to let surgeons visualize a patient’s bony anatomy during surgery. It’s designed to assist implant and surgical instrument placement.
