Delaware Oxycodone Ringleader Sentenced to Over 4 Years in Prison

The 30-year-old leader of a network distributing illegal oxycodone pills and other painkillers in Delaware has been sentenced to 4 and a half years in prison, according to a Delaware Online report.

Michael Griffith, a former high school wrestling standout, led a Delaware network that received tens of thousands of the pain pills through a pharmacy connection in Florida.

 

Mr. Griffith has cooperated with authorities in Florida and one suspect in that state has been arrested.
