The system can now be used in 21 countries, according to a news release. Argentina, Australia, Chile and Qatar began using the FlareHawk9. FlareHawk7 has been used in Cyprus, Greece, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland; and TiHawk9 is used in Puerto Rico and New Zealand.
More than 15,000 FlareHawk devices were implanted in the U.S., and an estimated 17,000 devices were used globally.
