Mr. Wentz fractured a finger on his throwing hand during an Oct. 13 game in Chicago. Dr. Shin performed the procedure at Cedars-Sinai Kerlan Jobe Surgery Center in Los Angeles.
Mr. Wentz will begin rehab and is expected to make a full recovery.
