Brian Collins was named global vice president of marketing and professional education, MicroPort said in an Oct. 6 news release. He has more than 12 years of experience in the medtech industry. Mr. Collins last served as global vice president of marketing and medical education at ZimVie where he guided the company’s spinoff from Zimmer Biomet.
Shawn Gabriel was named vice president of sales in North America. He has more than 20 years of experience in the medtech industry and has worked at Johnson & Johnson, Smith & Nephew, Medtronic, Tornier, and HillRom.
Both leaders will help accelerate MicroPort’s U.S. and global commercial operations, according to the release.
