The practice is moving into new, larger facilities to facilitate future growth, Dr. Choi shared in an email with Becker’s. The practice has 11 full-time staff, including two full-time mid-level employees.

Dr. Choi is a Harvard-trained spine surgeon specializing in minimally invasive spine techniques and is one of the few specialists performing robotic spine surgery on Long Island.

He is also an assistant clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at the Zucker/Northwell School of Medicine in Hempstead, N.Y., and a member of the medical school’s admissions committee.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
