Kyle Fleck, MD, orthopedic surgeon at Georgia Sports Medicine, will lead the clinic’s orthopedics department.
Dr. Fleck specializes in shoulder, elbow and knee procedures, and is trained in all sports medicine injuries.
Wes Turton, MD, will lead the bariatric surgery department.
“We are very excited to bring these new specialties to the Lowndes and Valdosta community. Drs. Turton and Fleck are both highly trained and experienced surgeons, and we look forward to the level of care they will bring to the area,” Claire Byrnes, senior vice president of ambulatory services for Southwell, said in a Sept. 12 press release.
