Union Health Orthopedics is expanding joint replacement services in the Wabash Valley, thanks to a new partnership with the Indiana Joint Replacement Institute, according to an Aug. 17 report from ABC affiliate WTWO.

The partnership will focus on hip and knee replacements.

“I think combining a comprehensive orthopedic program and adding in the super-specialized care — those sorts of synergies are what will make this program great,” Michael Meneghini, MD, a physician at Indiana Joint Replacement Institute, said in the report.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
