Alphatec’s Q2 sales soar 35%: 4 notes

Alphatec posted significant year-over-year second-quarter growth and an increase in its surgeon user base, according to results posted Aug. 4.

Four things to know:

1. The company’s total revenue was $84 million, a 35 percent increase year over year.

2. Alphatec’s EOS imaging generated $12 million in revenue during the second quarter.

3. Alphatec hosted more than 150 surgeons at training events and saw a 23 percent increase in physician users compared to the same time last year.

4. The company raised its full-year guidance to $325 million, reflecting 34 percent growth for 2022.
