RSNA will send contestants 2,800 cervical spine CTs from 12 institutions across the world that are half negative and half positive, according to a July 29 news release.
The CTs have already been diagnosed by the American Society of Neuroradiology and the American Society of Spine Radiology.
Competitors will have to create a machine learning model that can beat the specialists’ performance in detecting fractures.
The 10 best entries will split the $30,000 prize.
Winners will be recognized at RSNA 2022 in Chicago at the end of the year.
